I offer individualized dyslexia intervention and educational support for students who continue to struggle with reading and spelling despite strong effort and instruction. Services are grounded in structured literacy and tailored to each student’s unique learning profile.

All services are available both in person in Chapel Hill and Pittsboro, North Carolina, and virtually for families worldwide.

Specialized Dyslexia Intervention

Individualized, one-on-one dyslexia intervention for students in grades 2–12 with dyslexia, suspected dyslexia, and other language-based learning differences. Instruction is multisensory and structured, using the Wilson Reading System®.

Reading and Spelling Evaluations

Comprehensive reading and spelling assessments designed to understand your child’s learning profile and determine appropriate instructional placement.

Collaboration with Professionals

I regularly coordinate with classroom teachers, learning specialists, speech-language pathologists, neuropsychologists, and educational psychologists who may also be working with your child.

Location

Virtual Tutoring

Tutoring and evaluations are available worldwide via Zoom

In-Person Tutoring

In-person tutoring and evaluations are available within approximately 3 miles of my location in Chapel Hill, N.C.

Rates

Hourly Rate
$95 per 60-minute session (virtual or in-person).

Recommended Frequency
Most students benefit from 2–5 sessions per week to support steady progress with structured literacy instruction.

Packages
Families may prepay for packages of 10 or 15 sessions.

Initial Assessment and WRS Placement

A one-time fee of $300 covers a comprehensive evaluation designed to assess your child’s reading and spelling skills and determine appropriate placement within the Wilson Reading System.

This assessment includes:

Two assessment sessions to evaluate reading and spelling skills (duration varies by student)
A detailed written report summarizing results and outlining a tailored instructional plan
A complimentary in-person or Zoom consultation to review findings and discuss next steps

This assessment helps ensure that instruction is targeted, appropriate, and aligned with your child’s specific learning needs.
